The Barbados Film and Video Association launched their annual 48 Hour Film Challenge on Friday, October 21st.
This year’s teams are; “3 Full Moons” led by Lia Gajadhar, “Short Whispers” led by Neil Marshall, “Apollyon” led by Marlon Fox, “Delimit” led by Jason A. Russell, “3rd Movement” led by Melanie Grant, “VWS Films” led by Vonley Smith and “No Equipment” led by Benjamin Drakes.
The teams are tasked with creating a 10-15 minute film, in any genre, based on the synopsis of the screenplay Westminster – which won the association’s Script Writing Challenge in 2015.
The association released video interviews with two of the team leaders on their Facebook page, along with photos from the launch.
The films will be screened on October 29th at BIDC Building No. 2 in Harbour Industrial Park. The winner will receive a prize of $3000.
