So, we’re starting off our Sunday morning with some incredible news! Yes!! You read it right! No, we’re not dreaming! According to “One Punch Man Fall Festival” event that was held on Sunday, the staff and cast of the first season’s television anime adaption of ONE and Yuusuke Murata’s manga have announced that the long-awaited sequel to the hit show has FINALLY been green-lit. The staff have also announced that the series is getting a smartphone game app next year.
The first 12-episode anime season directed by Shingo Natsume aired in Japan from October till December 2015 with both Viz Media and Daisuki streaming the series outside of Japan as it aired.
The anime also had an English dub on Adult Swim’s Toonami block on July 16
