Keppeki Danshi! Aoyama-kun (Clean Freak! Aoyama-kun) E09 Recap

Kae-Tan desu~ (*≧▽≦)

Miwa (aka the team’s Coach) watches a soccer anime with a protagonist that she admires greatly and is inspired to hold a training camp. Zaizen offers them the summer villa to hold the camp which revves everyone up except for aoyama since that would be the pinnacle of contact.

We switch to night at Zaizen’s home when his father gets back from work. This is the first time we see his father who comes across as a very influential man since he can just pick the phone and call the prime minister to change the rules of soccer by making the goals bigger. In his case, money talks. We also meet Zaizen’s little sisten Karin who is indiefinitely coddled by their father, despite him seeming standoffish at first glance.

The day of the training camp arrives and at the request of Coach Miwa, Karin arranges not just their club, but for ALL the clubs to go on the trip. On arriving, Aoyama is placed in his own exquisitely clean white room in a hotel, while the others sleep in a run-down Japanese building. Zaizen apparently had always wanted to try sleeping in this type of building, much to the dismay of the others.

Practice on the beach begins and I am genuinely surprised to still see Umeya on the soccer team. When Ishikawa (the captain) twists his ankle, Moka takes an opportunity to step in his place. While she does surprise all in attendance by dribbling past everyone, including Aoyama, she also attempts to commit a malicia by pretending she was fouled. Aoyama doesn’t approve of this and while he does let her know that, he also compliments her dribbling skills which makes Moka happy.

In the end, we find out that although it was an artificial environment designed by the Zaizen group and some mishaps with meal time and others occur, everyone starts to enjoy the outing, especially the test of courage. Aoyama just cleaned the haunted hospital throughout the whole ordeal lol.

See you all next week for episode 10 entitled: “Aoyama-kun Has Many Secrets”
