Kae-Tan desu~ (*≧▽≦)
Tsubasa Umeya is a top-class judo competitor….oh and he has a super crush on Moka. So much so that he quits the judo team and joins the soccer team in order to get closer to her. Everyone realizes it except for Moka herself since she is wrapped up in her world of Aoyama.
Umeya uses his place on the team to assist Moka in any that way that he can, although he isn’t very vocal about his feelings towards her. When Umeya questions her feelings for him, he decides to help her get closer to him. He wants nothing more than Moka to be happy so he invites Aoyama to the zoo under the pretense of attending a cat festival and all goes well at first until they run into Odagiri which makes things super awkward for Moka, depleting her confidence even more than it already was.
When Umeya sets Aoyama and Moka on a boat together, Moka is able to speak to Aoyama directly, even though she only tells him that she had fun. This was kind of short, because nothing else really happened in this episode, but I feel sorry for Umeya and I hope he pulls through towards the end.
Also the judo coach is weird. He spent the entire episode stalking Umeya wherever he went…….
See you all next week for episode 9 entitled: “Miwa-chan Wants to Do a Training Camp”
Keppeki Danshi! Aoyama-kun airs on Crunchyroll every Sunday at 12:30 PM (AST)
